Mountain Lion Hunts
We operate Mountain Lion hunts in Northwest Montana with Wayne Hill Outfitting. Montana hunts are in December due to it being a quota tag, while Idaho is January and Febuary to ensure good snow at MTN SAVAGE Outfitters. Both Idaho & Montana yield big toms. You will take off at 2 am driving roads to find a track. Once a track is found we turn the dogs out and your guide will work with his dogs to get the Lion treed.

This Lion hunt is to ensure there is the perfect conditions during your hunt. We all know you can pick the dates not the weather & without snow it makes it tough to catch lions. We will call you immediately when a snowstorm hits, and you will fly in the next day to hunt.
